This is the second episode of Left A Few Out There and a conversation with former Ladies European Tour player Sophie Walker.
Mere hours after Sophie had got back from the season ending Magical Kenya Open, I got her on the phone to discuss the end of the LET season and how impressive Esther Henseleit had been in her victory. We talked about the German wrapping up the Order of Merit and Rookie of the Year titles along with her maiden victory on the tour.
Sophie also discussed the need for the LET to push on from a successful Solheim Cup in 2019 and how the partnership with the LPGA may or may not shake out over the next three years.
It’s a really interesting conversation with someone who cares greatly about the ongoing success of women’s European golf.
